The Çataltepe Property

Location and Geology

The Çataltepe property is located 84.70 km to Çanakkale. Geological units which are exposed in the Çataltepe area are green schist which is locally inerbedded with marble and calc-schists, sericite and locally muscovite schist. Locally serpentinite blocks are observed in the schists. Ganodiorite intruded into schists. Both schists and granodiorite are overlain by Tertiary andesitic lava and tuff. Marble and calc-schist is observed in the gren schist and hosted for skarn and replacement type mineralization in the Çataltepe property.
